Spring Transitions & Life Transitions + A Giveaway

Remix.Rewear.Restyle. My Monday tradition linking up at Greater than Rubies is here. This week the remix is spring transition pieces. I was a little stumped what I should put together for this one. But as I put together some simple to wear to church I realized that was it. It is simple and yet a little springy, transitional and even versatile. Spring transition w/out scarf

This is actually what I wore to church. I think it works for a spring day prior to really warm temps in Texas. I am beginning to understand the importance of statement jewelry and even animal print flats to add a little pop to an outfit. When I got home I did a little swapping out and thought the next outfit was a good option for spring transition as well. And that basic white tank, yeah, I rescued that from the purge pile. What was I thinking? Who gives away a perfectly good white tank? Apparently, this girl was going to before I came to my senses. My goodness, I wonder sometimes what I’m thinking…

By the way, this is the same sweater that I wore the last week with the brown dress. Two options {plus how many unknown are still lurking out there in my closet} already with that little coral number.

Although this remix is focused on transition pieces, I have to confess that my husband and I are in the middle of life transitions as well. Today was the first Sunday of a new church plant in our city. North Point Church will be our new church home. You can read about it here. We are excited to see how the Lord will grow and shape us and the others who have committed to join this church plant. Previously, we assisted for a short time with another church plant in our city. Christ Community Church’s information can be found here. We have blessed for years through Denton Bible Church and look forward to our teaching and training being put to use along new avenues. So you see, our spring is definitely a time of transitions. Good and exciting transitions that have us embracing just how blessed we are and have been by our Lord.

Thank you, Arielle! I almost thought I wouldn’t like this color but glad it’s a part of my wardrobe. Still trying to put it together with other pieces though. I’m glad you stopped by today and hope you’re having a lovely day!

I am absolutely in love with your coral cardigan! Where did you get it?? I’m looking for a long sleeve version but the quality of yours looks top notch and is just the right length. I can’t believe how much of a difference that scarf makes! So much more of a statement! It is absolutely perfect for spring.
Stopping by from the Funday Monday link up 🙂

Hi Lauren! Actually, I got it at Old Navy. They had a round neck w/long sleeves that was close to this color but a little bit too orange so I opted for this one. Coral – such a great color for spring and it is good for almost every skin tone I think. Glad you stopped by! Hope you have a lovely week.

Carrie, I love how you remixed your Cardigan. You have a great collection of Scarves too I must say. Earlier this month when I started my 30 for 30 challenge, I wore my Striped Dress with my Coral Cardigan and a Floral Scarf. =)

Nice giveaway too. I must enter. =D

I really like the first, simple look with the necklace. So pretty! I just picked up a smallish statement floral necklace myself, and I’m excited to use it to add a little something to simple outfits.

Hi Amy! I hope you’re doing well. I think I have to re-sign up with Flickr in order to get into my account. But I liked your outfit you posted on GTR. Pretty scarf, they add so much to any outfit. I’m loving statement necklaces as well. Just learning how they really compliment an outfit. Thanks for stopping by again!

Thanks, Carly! We are excited about the new church. Fortunately, the pastor is someone we have known and worked with in the past. Good relationship and dearly love him and his family. New adventure that’s for sure! Glad you stopped by!
