The Redress Challenge

Good morning, Monday! That was a fast weekend…but yesterday was a delight to celebrate the resurrection with dear people, so actually I’m starting the week feeling rather blessed.

If you stop by here on a regular basis then you know that I link up with Greater than Rubies on Monday. The challenge this week was a Redress Challenge: Repair ~ giving life to a new piece. I had planned to skip this link up because I just wasn’t sure what I would post. But as a thought about it on Sunday evening a thought of dresses came to my mind. I have been purging since the dawn of 2014, but I did rescue a dress or two from that purge pile right before it exited the front door. I’m not repairing it, but I am restyling it. And I must say, I’m glad I rescued this little brown number. I think I’m in love!

I realize just a simple sweater or scarf or different shoes changed my entire outlook on this little number. I didn’t style it with leopard print {scarf and/or shoes} but I can totally see that in my future.

Since the hubby is my photo man {new venture for him but we are both learning} and in honor of building muscle month, he encouraged this photo. {He’s my trainer, too}. Mixing it up on, Monday ladies.

Linking up at Greater than Rubies. Fizz and Frosting. DC in Style. More Pieces of Me. Not Dead Yet Style. Still Being Molly. Style Elixir. Life’s a Party Dress Like It. Cute and Little.

Hope you have a lovely little Monday!

I’m having another link up party of Friday – Hope you stop by!

LOL, Whitney! 🙂 Thankful that I’m learning to use other pieces to extend the life of pieces I thought I should discard. Hope your day has been lovely. Thank you for stopping by!

Your muscle picture is so cute Carrie! You should be proud to show them. I’ve been going to Zumba since January and know the pride that comes from a little muscle development. 🙂

Thanks, Stacey! I have to admit I love working out and lifting weights. I also like to do some cross training. Hats off to you for Zumba – I for one am not coordinated enough to move like that to music. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and hope your day has been just lovely!

Jess, I totally agree with you about scarves. I have always LOVED earrings but I almost think I could relinquish them for scarves. Glad you stopped by. Hope your day has been lovely. Visiting your blog today!
